Privacy policy
The Kyrgyz Seasons site has no registration or comments, and the site itself does not set cookies. Fonts, photos and maps load from our own domain, and there are no third-party scripts or advertising. We learn only what you choose to write in a request or an email. Below is what actually happens as of 14 October 2026, and what we plan to add.

Data
What data we receive
- Request form
- The site has a trip request form: month, dates, number of days and people, wishes, and your name and email. It sends nothing to our server: the button only prepares an email in your own mail program, and you send it yourself. There is no registration, sign-in, comments or newsletter subscription.
- Emails
- The email buttons and the request form open your email program with a ready-made message: a subject, the name of the place, the page address and what you entered in the form. Requests arrive at hello@kyrgyzseasons.com. The email is sent only after you press “Send” in your own program; until then we receive nothing. The “copy text” button only copies the message to your device’s clipboard.
- What comes with an email
- Your email address and what you wrote. We use this to reply and, if necessary, to correct the site. We do not sell addresses or pass them on to third parties.
- Cookie
- The site does not set cookies. That is also why it has no banner asking for cookie consent. Checked against the server’s response headers on 13 October 2026.
- Browser storage
- The only thing the site saves on your device is the ticks in the packing list for a hike (localStorage, a key of the form exp-pack). They stay in your browser, are not sent to us, and are erased with the reset button or by clearing the site’s data.
- Analytics
- The site currently has no analytics. We plan to use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it counts page visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying the visitor. When we switch it on, we will update this page and its date. Planned, not yet switched on.
Pages
What loads on a page
- Fonts
- Golos Text and Piazzolla, from our own server. Google Fonts and other font services are not connected.
- Photos and scripts
- All images and scripts come from our domain. Advertising, social media pixels, chats and embedded widgets are not connected. There are no embedded videos.
- Maps
- Maps are drawn from data that has already loaded with the page (OpenStreetMap data, with the © OpenStreetMap credit). When you view a map, your browser does not request tiles from third-party servers.
- Email address protection
- The email address on the page is hidden from automated harvesting using Cloudflare tools. For this the page loads a Cloudflare script from our own domain.
Where the site is kept
Hosting and external services
- Hosting
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any hosting, technical data is processed when a page is requested: the IP address, the type of browser and the address of the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. More in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Links to other sites
- The “Open on map” buttons lead to Google Maps, the links in the footer to Instagram and YouTube, the photo credits to Wikimedia Commons and licence pages, and some of the tips to official websites. Data is passed to them only after you follow a link, and their own rules apply from then on.

- To see what we hold about you (usually your email and our reply), to have it corrected or to have it deleted.
- How
- Write to hello@kyrgyzseasons.com with the subject “Data”, from the email address in question. We do not promise a reply time.
- Who is responsible
- Kyrgyz Seasons, a team in Karakol, Issyk-Kul Region, Kyrgyzstan.
- If something changes
- We will update this page and the date at its top. If the site starts collecting anything else, for example when analytics is switched on, it will appear here before launch.
