Traveller’s question

Karakol Gorge or Jeti-Oguz: which to choose for a day trip

If you want red rocks and a short walk with no climbing, go to Jeti-Oguz: the Seven Bulls rocks stand right by the resort. If you want forest, a river and a proper mountain day, choose Karakol Gorge. From November to April, it is Jeti-Oguz only: the rocks can be seen all year round, while the gorge’s season runs from May to October.
