Getting to the base
From Karakol to Jeti-Oguz resort and the Seven Bulls rocks is about 30 km and roughly 45 minutes by car. Look for taxis and marshrutkas at Ak-Tilek Market, at the junction of Torgoev and Aldashev streets; tell the driver your destination is Jeti-Oguz Resort or the Seven Bulls rocks. If the marshrutka terminates in the lower village, you need another ride to the rocks. August 2025 guide prices were 50 som per person to the village, then 300 som per vehicle to the rocks; the indicative October 2026 price for a direct private taxi was 1,500–2,000 som per vehicle one way. Agree the return and final price before leaving, especially if continuing to Kok-Jaiyk.
