From Karakol to the waterfalls is about 100 km. By car, turn off the A364 into Barskoon Gorge; get off by the Gagarin monument and the car park at the trailheads. A public transport option is a bus from Karakol's southern bus station to Barskoon village, then a local taxi to the trail. In May 2025, the bus cost 200 som per person and the taxi to the trail cost 600 som per trip. The guide price for a private transfer from Karakol as of 11 October 2026 is 3,500 som per vehicle one way; arrange the return trip separately.
