Getting to the base
Talas is the base for access; the nearest part of the park is about 13 km from the town. For a taxi or booked vehicle, agree a drop-off at the Besh-Tash State Nature Park checkpoint and a return transfer; reaching the lake requires a separate route. The tourist office in Talas is at 76 Kasymova (Yuzhnaya) Street. Since July 2026, you can pay at the checkpoint by bank card, QR code or e-wallet; check opening hours and the current fee before your trip.
