History
History in 6 dates
- 1895Wooden church
The five-domed wooden church was consecrated in 1895. The local Maslikov merchant family paid for its construction.
- 1944Partial restoration
One of the five domes was restored; work stopped soon afterwards.
- 1961Building seized again
A gym was set up in the church, and the grounds were transferred to a children’s sports school.
- 1992Building returned
The dilapidated building was returned in 1992; this date differs from the documented transfer of ownership.
- 1992–1995Restoring the appearance
The church was restored over three years through residents’ voluntary donations.
- 1995Formal transfer
Transfer to the church was formalised by resolutions of 16 and 23 November 1995; land rights were registered in 2001.
