- 1888Burial by Issyk-Kul
Przhevalsky died in Karakol before a new journey. He was buried near the eastern shore of Issyk-Kul.
- 1894Monument unveiled
The traveller’s memorial monument was unveiled on 26 June.
- 1957Museum opened
The museum devoted to Nikolai Przhevalsky’s life and expeditions opened on 29 April.
