Getting to the base

From Bishkek, it is about 40 km and roughly 1 h by car to the park. Bus No. 1 used to run from T. Usubaliyev Old Square to Ala-Archa National Park: the 2025 guide price was 40 som cashless or 50 som in cash per passenger. Check the current service before leaving. Petrol and diesel vehicles are left at the checkpoint; electric transport is used inside the park. Guide prices from 8 June 2026: adult entry 250 som; electric car entry 880 som. Ask at the ticket office what the ticket includes and how to reach the mountaineering camp.
